ESPERANTO Diploma

This award is given for popularizing the Esperanto movement, the Esperanto language and the ILERA organization to all hams and SWL who can prove contacts with ILERA Members or with Esperanto speaking radio amateurs :

Annual ESPERANTO Contest

Objective: A chance to communicate with all ILERA Members, to demonstrate and popularize the Esperanto language, to give a chance to realize the Esperanto Diploma awards (above).

When: every year third weekend in November, 0000 UT on Saturday - 2400 UT on Sunday. A 20 hour break is necessary time for rest (repose).

Category: only one; "single operator, multi band".

Bands and modes: all bands 1.8 through 28 Mhz except WARC. The same station may be worked only on another band independently of mode.

Exchange: RS(T) and serial number starting 001 in the ESPERANTO language.

Scoring: Each contact gets (count) one point.

Total score: The score of Qso points on all bands.

Logs must show: time UT, Callsign, sent and received RS(T)&serial numbers. A summary indicating contacts per band, points, different correspondents, DXCC countries and used bands is requested.
