Lee Miller
Lee Miller holds a master's degree in nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He now works as an American Sign Language interpreter, especially in undergraduate and graduate university courses. A U.S. Esperantist (who taught himself the language in 1968), he has participated in the NASK institutes since 2000 (in San Francisco and in Brattleboro), first as editor of the daily newspaper 'La NASKa Fasko' and later as teacher of Esperanto classes.

He is a lifetime member of ELNA (the Esperanto League of North America) and UEA (the Universal Esperanto Association), as well as being a member of the Amerika Asocio de Instruistoj de Esperanto (American Association of Teachers of Esperanto) and KELI. He is active in local and regional Esperanto groups. He was a member of the local congress committee (LKK) for the national congress in St. Louis in 1999, and was editor of the Bulteno (Bulletin) of the Esperanto Association of St. Louis.

Mr. Miller encourages active dialogue and communication among students and instructors and stimulates creative use of the language, working closely with individual students to develop their language skills and with small groups who need tutoring and assistance outside of class time.
